We have started this new blog which is dedicated to highlighting our Nanyang Poly (NYP) competitors taking part in WorldSkills Singapore this year.
WorldSkills Singapore is a biennial competition for young people with special talents and skills to come together and compete. The gold medallists in this competition stand a chance to represent Singapore in the international-level WorldSkills Competition.
A total of 46 NYP competitors will be taking part in 13 competition areas, namely: Caring, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Electronics, Graphic Design Technology, Information Network Cabling, IT Network Systems Administration, IT Software Solutions for Business, Mechanical Engineering Design – CAD, Mechatronics, Mobile Robotics, Web Design and Visual Merchandising.
WorldSkills Singapore will be from 20 to 22 January 2011. The results of the competition will be announced during a closing ceremony on 26 January 2011.
